Alfred Henry Mather

Alfred was born in July 1855 in Little Bolton and his baptism took place on July 22nd, 1855 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

Alfred's father was John Mather and his mother was Lelitia (Loah) Crankshaw. His paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ann Coup. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Edwin, John, Frederick, William, Mary, Elizabeth and Mary. He had a foster brother named Edwin. He died at the age of 21 in February 1877 in Halliwell. His burial was on February 10th, 1877 at St. Peter (Halliwell).³
