Anne was born on October 10th, 1772 in Bolton and her christening took place on November 19th, 1772 at Bank Street Unitarian.1  Anne's father was Abraham Lomax and her mother was Betty Hamer. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Abraham, John, Mary and Betty.  She was the youngest of the five children.
