Law was born on April 17th, 1813 in Lockwood and his baptism took place on May 14th, 1813.¹

Law's father was William Liversidge and his mother was Hannah Kinder. His maternal grandparents were William Kinder and Sarah Taylor. He had six brothers and five sisters, named John, David, Henry, Kinder, William, Amos, Sarah, Martha, Mary, Elizabeth and Hannah. He had an adopted sister named Eliza. He died at the age of 21 in March 1835 in Lockwood. His burial was on March 21st, 1835 in Almondbury.²

  It must be an uncle Law Liversidge (son of Daniel, born 1801 and New Laith) who married Ellen Crow on 8 Dec 1825. In 1836 their daughter Eliza was born at Jack Royd, next door to Bum Royd between Newsome and New Lathe Hill where Law's siblings were living.
