Edith Lancaster

Edith was born in August 1904 in Bolton and her baptism took place on August 17th, 1904 at St. Paul's (Astley Bridge).¹²

Edith's father was Samuel Lancaster and her mother was Mary Ann Haydock. Her paternal grandparents were William Lancaster and Martha Heapy. She had two brothers and a sister, named Fred, Herbert and Lena. She was the third oldest of the four children.

General Notes
- In Q2 1934 Edith may have married Donald Hendry at Farnworth, Congregational Church, Francis Street, Bolton (the only early Bolton marriage, although many possible others in Lancashire). More likely she married George Lancaster at Bolton St George in 1946.
