Ellis Ickeringill

Ellis was born in 1825 in Bingley and his baptism took place there on January 22nd, 1826.¹   Ellis' father was Isaac Ickeringill and his mother was Hannah Driver.  His paternal grandparents were John Ickeringill and Mary Medley. He had a brother and two sisters, named David, Mary and Sarah.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother named John.
