John Ickeringill

John was born on October 13th, 1777 in Bingley and his baptism took place there on December 16th, 1777.¹   John's father was George Ickeringill and his mother was Hannah Wilkinson. He had four brothers and three sisters, named George, Thomas, James, Isaac, Sarah, Mercy and Mary.  He was the oldest of the eight children.

‌John and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on August 24th, 1801 in Bingley.³   They had three sons and four daughters, named Isaac, James, George, Elizabeth, Hannah, Sarah and Rebecca.
