Thomas was born in 1870.  Thomas' father was Thomas Horrocks and his mother was Jane Dewhurst.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas Dewhurst and Esther Holt. He had four sisters named Esther, Elizabeth, Mary and Fanny.  He died at the age of 86 on February 19th, 1956 in Bolton.  He was buried.1
