Elizabeth was born on July 19th, 1876.  Elizabeth's father was Thomas Horrocks and her mother was Jane Dewhurst.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Dewhurst and Esther Holt. She had a brother and three sisters, named Thomas, Esther, Mary and Fanny.
