Banks (James) Horrocks

Banks, known as James, was born in 1832 in Turton.¹

  Aged 9 in 1841, at Back Barry Row, Turton

James' father was James Horrocks and his mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Banks.  His maternal grandparents were James Banks and Jane Crouchley. He had an adopted brother named Edwin.  He died at the age of 55 in 1887 in Ardwick.²
