Anne's father was George Hopley and her mother was Catherine Caldecott.  Her paternal grandparents were John Hopley and Ann Wooley. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, George, George, Sarah, Mary, Harriett, Emma and Frances.  She died at the age of 4 on August 22nd, 1829 in Broxton.  She was buried on August 22nd, 1829 at St. Oswalds (Malpas).¹
