Grace was born in November 1833.  Grace's father was Peter Hilton and her mother was Elizabeth Mather.  Her maternal grandparents were William Mather and Grace Thomison. She had a sister named Catherine.  She was the younger of the two known children.  She died in November 1833 in Bolton.  Her burial was on November 6th, 1833 at St. Peter's (Bolton).1
