On the 12 April 1803 William Mather married Grace Thomison at St. Mary's, Deane. This was the last of 8 marriages here this day, including a marriage between James Toping and widow Alice Mather, but they are not adjacent so unlikely to be a double marriage
In 1805 William and Grace were living in Little Bolton
In 1817, William was a Blacksmith in Great Bolton, and later recorded at Lowton when Nancy (and Elizabeth) baptised.
