John Hargreaves

John was born on December 27th, 1807 R Cliviger & Mereclough and his baptism took place on January 24th, 1808 in Burnley.¹

  John Son of Henry Hargreaves, Greenfield Nook in Cliviger, cotton weaver, by Jenny his wife, born 27th Dec 1807.

John's father was Henry Hargreaves and his mother was Jane (Jenny) Whitaker. He had two brothers and two sisters, named James, William, Sarah and Ann. He was the third oldest of the five known children. He died at the age of 73 on December 11th, 1881 R Cliviger & Mereclough.²
