Visiting Wykes family (Willian and Isabella) in Derbtshire in 1861.
In 1867 Thomas William Handford was the minister for the marriage of Samuel Marther (his future sister-in-laws brother i.e. Sarar Alice Mather) to Ellen Morris.
Thomas was the minister of Moor Lane Chapel from 1864 until it closed when it became too small and then of Claremont Baptist Chapel when it was built as a replacement in 1869.
In 1872 he left Bolton and moved to Bloomsbury, London (source: Claremont Centenary Handbook of 1969). He then emigrated to Toronto, Canada.
