Peter was born on December 23rd, 1908 in Birkenhead.1  Peter's father was Arthur Thomas Hamer and his mother was Catherine Walsh. He had a brother named Arthur.  He was the older of the two children. He had a half-sister named Peggy.  He died at the age of 88 in February 1997 in Birkenhead.2
