John Farnell

John was born about 1750 in Pulford and his baptism took place there on May 14th, 1769.¹

Birth Notes
- John born about 1750, before hios sister Mary and before his granfather's Will was written. If this baptism is correct, then he was an adult. It seems unlikely this is correct, and there are many more baptisms for children of Francis or Poulton, other Johns, but no mary.

John's father was Francis Fernall and his mother was Elizabeth Hopley. His maternal grandparents were William Hopley and Anne Williams. He had a sister named Mary. He was the older of the two children.

General Notes
- In 1753, William Hopley in his Will itemed: "I give and bequeath to John Farnell, Son of Frances and Elizabeth Farnell, now of Poolton Five Pounds".
