Ann's father was Mr John Eddowes and her mother was Elizabeth Taylor.  Her paternal grandparents were John Eddowes and Mary Poynton. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Robert, William, David, Elizabeth and Mary. She had an adopted brother named Edward.  She died at the age of 17 in September 1799 in Wrexham.  She was buried on September 15th, 1799 in Marchwiel.¹
