Ann Daxon

Ann was born in 1748 in Shocklach and her baptism took place there on February 5th, 1748.¹

Ann's father was Edward Daxon and her mother was Mary Hopley. Her maternal grandparents were William Hopley and Anne Williams. She had a brother named James. She was the older of the two children.

General Notes
- In 1753, the first bequest of William Hopley in his Will was: "I give and bequeath to Ann Daxon, Daughter of Edward and Mary Daxon, now of the Parkside Five Pounds ..." (i.e. his granddaughter Ann who would be about 11 years old when he died).
