After they married, Edward and Mary moved to Parkside (a Farm near Holt and Farndon), in Denbyshire near the England-Wales border.
Three years after they were married, Edward Daxon paid the licence for his sister-in-law Elizabeth Hopley's marriage to Francis Fernall.
Edward and Mary had a daughter Ann of Parkside who was left £5 by her grandfather in 1759. They also had a son James, who also got £5.
