1785-1793, James was a Clothier at Berry Brow when Joseph, Betty, Abraham and Mary baptised (and two died).
In 1788, son Abraham was baptised at Longwood, the only son of James to be baptised here. Abraham, son of James, Clothier of Berry Brow died in 1791.
1796-1808 baptism records for James, Martha and Sarah include the mothers maiden name, confirming the 1785 marriage..
In 1841 James (60), a clother was at Berry Brow with Sally Crosland (35) and Joseph (15).
In 1851 James was still alive at 1339 Berry Brow with his daughter Sarah (46).
