Peter Crook

Peter was born in November 1742 in Harwood and his baptism took place on December 5th, 1742 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

Peter's father was John Crook and his mother was Hannah (Ann) Twisse. His maternal grandparents were Peter Twisse and Katherine Welch. He had a brother and four sisters, named John, Mary, Catherine, Ellen and Betty. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 78 in September 1821 in Harwood. He was buried on September 23rd, 1821 at St. Peter's (Bolton).³³
