Charles Walter Crofts 
Charles was born in 1873. Charles' father was John Crofts and his mother was Ellen Rothwell. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Crofts and Sarah Wainright; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Rothwell and Mary Fletcher. He had two brothers named Edward and James. He was the youngest of the three known children. He died at the age of 71 in 1944.General Notes
