John was born on May 14th, 1912 in Utah (UT).1  John's father was Marinus Marion Bush and his mother was Mary (Marrian) Ann Arthur.  His maternal grandparents were Edward James Arthur and Catherine Bennett. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Marinus, Kay, Gladys, Mary and Loa.  He was the third youngest of the six known children.  He died at the age of 92 on September 18th, 2004 in Idaho (ID).1

‌John and Marion were married in a religious ceremony on June 17th, 1933 in Idaho (ID).1  They had a daughter named JBShrub.  There are possibly more children.
