John Buckley

John's father was James Buckley Snr and his mother was Elisabeth (Betty) Cresswell. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James, Joseph, John, William, Betty, Hannah and Anne.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 5 in April 1756 in Uppermill.  He was buried on April 17th, 1756 at St. Chad (Saddleworth).¹
