Hannah was born on May 26th, 1807 in Saddleworth and her baptism took place on May 31st, 1807 in Oldham.1 2  Hannah's father was George Buckley and her mother was Sarah (Sally) Andrews. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Joseph, Samuel, John, Sarah and Mary. She had an adopted sister named Ann.
