Joseph was born on June 1st, 1806 in Oldham and his baptism took place there on June 22nd, 1806.1  Joseph's father was George Buckley and his mother was Sarah (Sally) Andrews. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Samuel, John, Sarah, Hannah and Mary. He had an adopted sister named Ann.  He died at 2 months old in August 1806 in Oldham.  He was buried on August 5th, 1806 in Oldham.1
