Ben Buckley

Ben was born in 1758 in Oldham and his baptism took place on May 26th, 1758 at St. Marys (Oldham).¹

Ben's father was William Buckley and his mother was Mary Shaw (Dronsfield). His paternal grandparents were James Buckley Jnr and Sarah Cooper. He had three brothers and a sister, named James, James, John and Betty. He was the youngest of the five known children.
