Thomas' father was George Brereton and his mother was Sarah Bebbington. He had a brother and a sister, named John and Ann.  He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-sister named Stephen.  He died at the age of 49 on April 26th, 1850 in Aston (& Newhall).
