General Notes

Margaret Mostyn (Brereton) was the daughter of Sir William Brereton, MP and Jane Warburton.

Margaret Brereton married, firstly, William Goodman, Alderman of Chester.  He died before 1556.

Sometime after 4 October 1556, Margaret married Sir William Mostyn.  This was his second marriage, so Margaret must have been over 21 (i.e. born before 1535), so the eldest of the children. William was MP for Flintshire, ad lived at Mostyn. He died 9 Sep 1576
