Jane Brereton

Jane was born on July 16th, 1548 in Brereton cum Smethwick.¹

Jane's father was Sir William Brereton MP and her mother was Jane Warburton.  Her paternal grandparents were Sir William Brereton and Anne Booth. She had a brother and three sisters, named William, Margaret, Elizabeth and Ann.  She was the second youngest of the five children.  She died at the age of 71 on January 29th, 1620 in Brereton cum Smethwick.  She was buried in Knutsford.¹
