Enoch was born in 1835 in Wybunbury.1  Enoch's father was Hugh Brereton and his mother was Mary Pilsbury.  His paternal grandparents were George Brereton and <Unknown>.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 38 in 1873 in Congleton.  His burial was on May 11th, 1873 in Congleton.
