Elizabeth's father was John Brereton and her mother was Ellen Latham.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Brereton and Rachel Pickstock. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, William, John, Thomas, Ann, Elizabeth, Catherine and Ellen.  She died at the age of 1 in October 1791 in Walgherton.  She was buried on October 30th, 1791 in Wybunbury.¹
