Elizabeth's father was John Brereton and her mother was Ellen Latham.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Brereton and Rachel Pickstock. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, William, John, Thomas, Ann, Elizabeth, Catherine and Ellen.  She died at 5 months old in December 1793 in Walgherton.  She was buried on December 27th, 1793 in Wybunbury.¹
