Elizabeth was born in 1826 in Nantwich.1  Elizabeth's father was William Brereton and her mother was Sarah Capper.  Her paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and Elizabeth Brereton. She had a brother named Enoch.  She was the older of the two children.
