Thomas Boothroyd

Thomas was born about 1793 in Almondbury. Thomas is no longer alive.

General Notes
- Was Thomas William Boothroyd's brother who married Benjamin's oldest daughter Mary Stocks?
  
  In 1814, Mary Ann, daughter of Thos Buthroyd and Esther Stocks was baptised. Thomas was a Clothier from Berry Brow.
  
  In 1831, Thomas and Esther of "Netherton" had their daughter Susannah baptised.
  
  In 1835, Thomas Boothroyd of Crosland married Mary Barratt (but this could be another). Then in 1841, Thomas and Mary (both 45) were at Hill Top Bank, South Crosland. Thias may be them with their mixed family of children inc susannah and Harriett Boortroyd (Harriett Barratt was illigitimate)

- From 1814 Thomas' occupation was Clothier in Berry Brow.
  From 1817 his occupation was Cropper in Berry Brow.

    - Cropper (a finisher, a skilled textile worker who sheares the nap from the cloth).
  From 1828 to after 1831 his occupation was Cloth Dresser in Netherton (Hill Top).
