Margaret Baxter

Margaret was born in 1827 in Atherton.¹ Margaret is no longer alive.

General Notes
- 1848, Margaret Baxter, spinster, (no father named) married John Mather, son of James. All from Atherton.
  
  In 1837, Margaret had a saughter Selina Baxter before she married John. Then they had Allen in 1850.
  
  In 1851, Margaret and John (both 24) had Selene and Allen Mather (3 & 1). They were living at Common Street, Atherton with Margaret's (step) father Thomas Melling (39, so too young to be her father) and assumed mother Betty Melling (46).
