Fannie's father was Richard Joseph Battarbee and her mother was Flavier Moreau. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Battarbee and Sarah Chadwick. She had a brother and two sisters, named Buster, Lucille and Azalee. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named C.M. and Cheri Merritt. She died at the age of 93 on August 8th, 1998 in Texas (TX).¹
