Mary Astley

Mary was born in 1814 in Bolton and her christening took place on November 27th, 1814 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Mary's father was Samuel Astley and her mother was Nanny Mather.  Her paternal grandparents were James Astley and Mary Bury; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Ellen Chambers. She had a sister named Maria.  She was the older of the two children.  She died in September 1814 in Bolton.  She was buried on September 24th, 1816 in Bolton.^2 2
