Geneviève was born on April 25th, 1672 in Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré, Montmorency, Qc, Canada and her christening took place there on April 29th, 1672.  Geneviève's father was Claude Bouchard and her mother was Louise Nicole Gagné-Gasnier.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacques Bouchard and Nicole Bouchard; her maternal grandparents were Louis II Gagné and Marie Michel. She had two brothers and two sisters, named François, Antoine, Marguerite and Rosalie.  She was the second oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 81 on March 23rd, 1754 in Petite-Rivière-St-Francois, Qc, Canada.
