François was born on April 8th, 1674 in Cap-Tourmente, Qc, Canada and his christening took place there on April 8th, 1674.  François' father was Claude Bouchard and his mother was Louise Nicole Gagné-Gasnier.  His paternal grandparents were Jacques Bouchard and Nicole Bouchard; his maternal grandparents were Louis II Gagné and Marie Michel. He had a brother and three sisters, named Antoine, Marguerite, Geneviève and Rosalie.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 82 on October 11th, 1756 in Petite-Rivière-St-Francois, Qc, Canada.  The funeral took place on October 12th, 1756 in Petite-Rivière-St-Francois, Qc, Canada.  His burial was on October 12th, 1756 in Petite-Rivière-St-Francois, Qc, Canada.
