Leora was born on March 3rd, 1890.  Leora's father was Henry Washington Dye and her mother is Mary Ida Lee.  Her paternal grandparents were Dusosway George Dye and Mary  Ann McKinley. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Russell, Luvena, Leona, Carrie and Kenna .  She was the third oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 72 on September 19th, 1962.

‌Leora and Anderson were married on November 25th, 1909.  They had three sons and seven daughters, named Onnie, Leeman, Donzil, Virginia, Burdette, Reva, Geneva, Marybelle, Pearl and Betty.
