Lawrence Dey, Sr. July 26, 1790. Proved Feb. 9, 1792. South Amboy, Middlesex. Wife, Ann. Children: Ann, Lawrence, John, Mary-who married John Embly, Elizabeth-who married John Journey, Ann-who married a Burdine and had children. Daughter Jane Dey, who had children. Granddaughter Jane Dey. Lawrence then lived on lands by the lands of John Journey and John Embly and william Dey. Son John, then living on land adjoining land of Benjamin Dey. Exec: Lawrence Dey, William Dey. Witnesses: John Dey and Richard Laird.

Sons, Lawrence and John, all real divided between them; son, Lawrence, tha part I now live on by tlands of John Journey and John Embly and William Dey; son, John, place he lives on adjoining land of Benjamin Dey. Grand-daughter Jame Dey, 30 pounds. Personal to be sold. Daughter, Mary (wife of John Embly), 1/4 part. Daughter Elizabeth (wife of John Journey), 1/4. Children (not named), of daughter, Ann Burdine, 1/4; children (not named) of daughter Jane Dey, 1/4. Executors - son, Lawrence Dey and William Dey.
