Sarah Stevens 
Sarah was born on June 12th, 1795 in Stillwater, Saratoga County, New York.1 Sarah's father was Joseph Stevens Sr and her mother was Desire Stevens. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Stevens Sr and Anna Segar; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Stevens Sr and Ester Safford. She had three brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Noah, Elias, Isaac, Naomi, Silence, Chloe, Ann and Jesse. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Joseph, John, Rhoda and Lydia. She died at the age of 87 on September 20th, 1882.1 General Notes
