Louis Sancomb

Louis was born on June 24th, 1840 in Chateaugay, Franklin County, New York.¹ Louis' father was Charles Sancomb (Gagne dit St. Come) and his mother was Jovite Sedilot (Montreuil). His paternal grandparents are Gabriel Gagne and M. Louise Bincette (Jolibois); his maternal grandparents are Ls. Sedilot and M. Lareau. He had seven brothers and a sister, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Julius, Charles, David, Barney, Samuel, Noah, Stephen, Louisa and Euphemie. He died at the age of 77 in 1917. He was buried at the St. Patricks Cemetery, Chateaugay, New York.¹
