Louisa Adelaide Jewett

Louisa was born on June 10th, 1842 in Granby, Connecticut.¹ Louisa's father was Peter Jenner Jewett and her mother was Louisa Adelaide Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Jewett and <Unknown>. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Stanley, John, Joseph, George, Frederick, Helen, Jane and Mary Ann. She was the second youngest of the nine children.
