Georgee was born on May 17th, 1816 in New Hartford, Connecticut.1 Georgee's father was Allyn Jewett and his mother was Abigail Tucker. His paternal grandparents were Zabdiah R. Jewett and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents are Benjamin Tucker and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Benjamin, Albert, Frederick, Louisa, Fanny, Julia and Mary. He was the second oldest of the eight children.-
