Fanny was born on June 9th, 1827 in Winsted, Connecticut.1 Fanny's father was Allyn Jewett and her mother was Abigail Tucker. Her paternal grandparents were Zabdiah R. Jewett and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents are Benjamin Tucker and <Unknown>. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Georgee, Benjamin, Albert, Frederick, Louisa, Julia and Mary. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died in South America.-
