Caroline Amanda Jewett 
Caroline was born on January 22nd, 1825 in Granby, Connecticut.1 Caroline's father was Dr Joseph Franklin Jewett and her mother was Elizabeth Bancroft Reed. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Jewett and <Unknown>. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Erastus, Robert, Charlotte, Charlotte and Cornelia. She was the third youngest of the seven children.-
