Joshua R. Giddings 
Joshua was born on April 15th, 1846 in Ashtabula County, Ohio, USA.1 Joshua's father was Joshua Hazelton Giddings and his mother was Rhoda C. Wakefield. His paternal grandparents were Elisha Giddings and Philothea Fish. He had two brothers and seven sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Brazillia, Zachary, Mary, Madeline, Roxana, Julia, Abrigail, Florence, Elisha and Wyman. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 90 on November 7th, 1936 in Hesperia, Newaygo County, Michigan.1 General Notes
