Knight Philip Courtenay (de Courtenay) 
Philip was born in 1347.1 Philip's father was Hugh (2nd Earl of Devon) Courtenay and his mother was Countess Margaret (Countess of Devon) de Bohun. His paternal grandparents were Hugh (1st Earl of Devon) Courtenay and Agnes St. John; his maternal grandparents were Humphrey (4th Earl of Hereford) Bohun VIII and Princess Elizabeth Plantagenet. He had eight brothers and eight sisters, named Hugh, Edward, Thomas, John, William, Humphrey, John, Peter, Margaret, Elizabeth, Eleanor, Katherine, Guenevere, Isabella, Joan and Anne. He died at the age of 59 in 1406.1 General Notes
